Monday meanderings- downtown Kitchener

Let’s go for a leisurely stroll along Schneider Creek on Kitchener’s Iron Horse Trail. Learn a little about the community’s history while enjoying a peaceful greenspace in the heart of the city.

With the area currently undergoing an environmental assessment our group may choose to discuss some ideas for improvements. The Nougat Bakery is on our route, too. When heading back to the starting point participants may pick up a little treat for the trip home.

Accessible walk: The meet-up location and trails are accessible by transit and mobility devices.

Meeting point: We will meet at the trailhead on Ottawa St near the MTD business. Parking is available on Nyberg St.
