You can find Waterloo Region Nature volunteers at a variety of events in our community, whether organized by our club or another like-minded group:
- giving talks at the library
- leading hikes
- helping kids build bird houses
- planting trees
- restoring a prairie
- manning an information booth at a festival
We provide many of the volunteers at Huron Natural Area for Kitchener's Natural Areas Program Earth Day Celebration, and we co-sponsor the annual Wonders of Nature Festival there.
If you spot us at one of our displays, come on over and use our button machine to make a free nature themed button to wear on your hat, shirt or backpack.
