You can find Waterloo Region Nature volunteers at a variety of events in our community, whether organized by our club or another like-minded group:

  • giving talks at the library
  • leading hikes
  • helping kids build bird houses
  • planting trees
  • restoring a prairie
  • manning an information booth at a festival

We provide many of the volunteers for Kitchener's Natural Areas Program Earth Day Celebration, and the annual Wonders of Nature Festival.

If you spot us at one of our displays, come on over and use our button machine to make a free nature themed button to wear on your hat, shirt or backpack.
