Welcome to Waterloo Region Nature! We are a naturalist club for all parts of the Region of Waterloo and we are a charity engaged in conservation activities. We are pleased to sponsor fun activities about any aspect of nature - for adults, youth and children. They include indoor meetings and outings. If you are not already a member, please explore our website and feel free to sample our activities! Waterloo Region Nature is affiliated with Ontario Nature, our province’s umbrella group for nature enthusiasts.
Waterloo Region is on the traditional territory of the Neutral, Anishinaabe, and Haudenosaunee Peoples. Waterloo Region Nature acknowledges the sovereignty, enduring presence, and deep traditional knowledge of the original stewards of this land as well as the many diverse First Nations, Inuit, and Métis people who now call this land home. We are all treaty people with a responsibility to honour all our relations and be active in the calls for Truth and Reconciliation across Turtle Island (North America).
