Description:  This walk is the second in a series of walks focused in  learning to identify tree species. Mount Hope is Kitchener’s oldest cemetery and has been planted with a wide variety of tree species, many of which are not native to Ontario. Tree ID will be facilitated by the presence of leaves, but we’ll also look at other features we can use to better recognize the trees in our urban space.

Dress for the weather and bring water. Paths are wide and easy. Washrooms are not far away.

Registration required. Limit of 12 participants. Non-members are welcome. All participants will need to sign an insurance waiver.
