Hike and ecological restoration at Laurel Creek

Ontario Youth Nature Keepers, (from the Canadian Council on Invasive Species) is launching an event series in Waterloo Region for youth (ages 15-30). This is an open invitation to youth in the region who are looking to connect with like-minded youth and learn more about nature.
Take part in a low-impact hike, learn some basic species ID (including invasive species management practices), bird-watching, and much more.
Meet in the parking lot near the front gate. If you register here, your entry will be pre-paid, just register at the booth. Further information will be sent when you register.
Washrooms are available on-site at trail heads. Dress for the weather, bring water and wear extra layers if necessary. Youth Nature Keepers will provide snacks, you are also welcome to bring your own.
