You can find Waterloo Region Nature volunteers at a variety of events in our community, whether organized by our club or another like-minded group:
- giving talks at the library
- leading hikes
- helping kids build bird houses
- planting trees
- restoring a prairie
- manning an information booth at a festival
We provide some of the volunteers for the Kitchener-Waterloo Earth Day Celebration.
If you spot us at one of our displays, come on over and use our button machine to make a free nature themed button to wear on your hat, shirt or backpack.
New Year Beginners Bird Walk at Huron Natural Area
Join Grace and Fraser as we look and listen for wintering birds in Huron Natural Area. This walk will be geared to new or novice birders, and no experience is necessary.
