The Greenbelt was created to preserve prime agricultural land and key natural and hydrologic features like the Niagara Escarpment and the Oak Ridges Moraine. We call on our membership to campaign for an increased Greenbelt to protect vulnerable water supplies and natural areas and to decrease urban sprawl. For more information view the following links:
