Meetings

Anyone with an interest in nature is welcome to attend our free meetings.

We start with a few announcements of noteworthy upcoming events, conservation issues or projects.
A mic is passed around as people share recent sightings of animals, plants, and insects
We welcome new members and guests
After a short break...
The main feature is a presentation by a guest speaker on one of a variety of interesting topics

Our December meeting is a social event, lately a winter walk.

Our May meeting includes a native plant swap.

At each meeting field guides are available for sale.

Meetings are usually on the 4th Monday of the month (unless that conflicts with a holiday) at 7:30 pm from September through May. The December social is held earlier in the month. The May meeting (which includes a short annual business meeting) starts at 7:00 pm.

The facility is fully accessible

Doors will open at 7:00 pm for regular meetings, or as may be announced for special meetings (AGM in May and December Social).

PUBLIC TRANSIT:

There are ION LRT stations nearby at Waterloo Public Square and at Willis Way. The route 5 bus stops on Erb Street West between Father David Bauer Drive and Caroline Street. The route 7 and route 16 buses stop on King Street near the Waterloo Public Square station.

CYCLING:

Bicycles are welcome. The church recommends bringing your bicycle inside for safe keeping.

PARKING:

All Parking is Free
Marsland Centre is free after 6 pm
Dupont Lot D is free after 5:30 pm
As a courtesy to library users, please do not use the lot located underneath the library building.

Note that traffic around the block: Erb – Albert – Caroline is one-way counterclockwise.

All parking access is from Dupont Street, which is two-way and can be entered from either Albert or Caroline N.
