Snowshoe – maybe! Fun – yes!

Laurel Creek Conservation Area,
625 Westmount Rd N, Waterloo
- We are hoping to be able to snowshoe
- Hike to an interesting pine tree area
- Learn about the pine shoot beetle, an invasive species
- Make tripods using previously cut branches then use sheets, ropes and clips to build fun shelters
- Handfeed chickadees
- Enjoy a warm snack
For kids 7-12 years of age (and their parents). This is a family event, so we request that a parent or guardian stay with their child during this outing.
