Breithaupt Park is an interesting park in the middle of Kitchener-Waterloo. We will meet here to learn about SQUIRRELS! These animals are busy this time of year and we will learn the who, what, where, when and why of these common but interesting animals. We invite you to bring a friend with you this outing! Your friend will need to attend with their parent or guardian.

Park in the Breithaupt Centre parking lot then head to the left side of the parking lot to the covered picnic shelter behind the trees. We will learn about the different kinds of squirrels that live in Waterloo Region and how they are similar and different to each other. After a fun game, we will head out in 2 teams in a friendly competition to see the most squirrels.

For kids 7-12 years of age. This is a family event, so we request that a parent or guardian stay with their child during this outing.
