We will enjoy a short walk along the Mill Race Trail where we will have a chance to hand feed chickadees. Then\, we will learn fire starting skills in hopes of making a good fire to warm up some soup. Do you know any spooky stories to tell around the camp fire? For kids 7-12 years of age. This is a family event\, so we request that a parent or guardian stay with their child during this outing. If you have not registered with WRN Kids for the 2026-2027 season yet\, please Register for WRN Kids. \n \n \n Blue Jay\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Black-capped Chickadee\n \n \n \n \n Northern Cardinal\n \n \n \n \n White-breasted Nuthatch\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n	\n	Organizer\n	WRN Kids Coordinator\n	\n	\n \n \n \n\n\n	\n	Email:\n \n kids@waterlooregionnature.ca \n \n\n\n\n \n \n \n \n \n	\n\n	Categories:	\n Kids	\n\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n	\n	3 Bridges Picnic Park\n	\n	\n\nThree Bridges Road\n	\n \n Woolwich\,\n\n	ON\n\n\n	Canada\n\n\n\n\n	+ Google Map \n\n\n	\n \n \n \n\n\n	\n \n\n\n\n	\n\n \n	\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n	\n \n\n	\n	Add to calendar	\n \n	\n\n \n \n \n	Google Calendar\n\n \n	iCalendar\n\n \n	Outlook 365\n\n \n	Outlook Live\n\n \n \n\n \n	\n\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n	\n \n\n The Owl Foundation: Helping wild Canadian Owls and other raptors	\n\n\n \n	\n North Shore of Lake Ontario - December 2026
