Wings Along a Cliff

The Presentation: This presentation features the diversity of nesting birds and the plant ecology on the iconic cliff face at Bon Echo Provincial Park. Bruce Mackenzie takes us on a trip through time and the species living there, as the cliff is constantly calling out to the curious naturalist.

The Presenter:  Bruce Mackenzie is a Past President of the Hamilton Naturalists’ Club and presently the Director for the Club’s Bird Study Group. He is also a Commissioner on the Niagara Escarpment Commission and is the recipient of numerous environmental awards including the 2016 Rt. Hon. John Turner Water and Environmental Leadership Award. Bruce is retired from the Hamilton Conservation authority after 39 years managing conservation areas.  As a writer, Bruce is a frequent contributor to the Wood Duck, the monthly journal of the Hamilton Naturalists’ Club and to the Niagara Escarpment Views magazine.
