Let’s join William Van Hemessen as he presents his work on Waterloo Region Fungi.

William Van Hemessen is a naturalist and environmental consultant in North Dumfries Township with over 15 years of professional experience. He has delivered numerous plant and fungus identification workshops and field trips in the Carolinian Zone. Although originally interested in botany, he recently completed an inventory of the fungi of Waterloo Region as part of his M.Sc. thesis at Western University. William will present the results of his research on Carolinian fungi and highlight some of the rare and unique species found in the region.  

This will be a hybrid meeting and you can choose to attend either in-person or via Zoom.  Meeting starts at 7:30 PM and the presenter will be on at approximately 8:00 PM or shortly thereafter.
