Want to learn to identify trees and fungi? Looking to learn and explore more species in the Waterloo Region? Come and join us for an introduction to iNaturalist, a free app that will help you identify and narrow down different species of plants and fungi that you find. You will need a smartphone with data to access the functions. After a 10-minute demonstration, we will walk around Huron Natural Area to test out the identification features. You do not need any prior experience with plant or fungi identification.

Registration is required. This outing is limited to 10 participants only. All participants will be required to sign a waiver form.
Washrooms are available at the parking lot, where we will convene at 6:00.
You will want to bring: Water, cellphone with data access, hat, comfortable hiking shoes, and bug repellent.
