Stewardship activity – buckthorn removal

Are you interested in learning how to best manage invasive plants? Do you want to take action? This is the event for you!

Come out this fall to visit a local ecologically protected site, and help remove invasive buckthorn plants. Tools will be supplied but if you have loppers or a tree wrench, please bring it along.

Please wear long sleeves, pants and sturdy footwear, and bring gloves and a water bottle. This is rewarding work and you will get dirty!
