Let’s join Paul General as he gives a brief history of the Six Nations Confederacy (Haudenosaunee) and how they arrived to the Grand River.  He will also talk about some of the last stands of Carolinian forest in southwestern Ontario, agricultural practices, and short-sighted engineering/planning.

Paul General is an elder and the former (retired) Manager of the Six Nations Eco-Centre. He is a Member of the Seneca Nation – Snipe Clan. He is active in over 30 committees and working groups, monitoring and contributing towards the protection and enhancement of our environment and has authored and co-authored numerous articles in a variety of publications, periodicals and books. Paul is also the honorary Lieutenant Colonel of the 56th Field Regiment of the Canadian Armed Forces.

This will be a hybrid meeting and you can choose to attend either in-person or via Zoom.  Meeting starts at 7:30 PM and the presenter will be on at approximately 8:00 PM or shortly thereafter.
