Description: There is a bit of a hill at the start of the trail, other than that it is flat, level ground, most of it on a paved path. We will be checking the river for gulls, herons, waterfowl and Bald Eagles. There may even be a late Osprey. We will traverse a variety of habitats, with excellent chance for a variety of passerines, including late migrants and early arrivals, woodpeckers, nuthatches, corvids, goldfinches and others. Over the years we have seen foxes, skunks, deer, raccoons and rabbits too.

Registration is required – Contact David to register. Non members are welcome but they will need to sign an insurance waiver.

Dress according to the weather, bring your binoculars, snacks if you think you need them, and lots of enthusiasm. Washrooms are not available.

These outings are predicated on COVID restrictions not becoming more dire. We will at all times be guided by current guidelines related to the pandemic. Numbers will be limited and pre-registration is required.
