Description: We’ll begin with a brief outdoor information session covering local owl species in the Waterloo Region and some high-level owl ecology. After that, we’ll head out onto the trails to listen for and if we’re lucky, possibly see some of our local owl species.
What to Bring:
It has been very cold, so please dress appropriately for winter conditions (layers, warm boots, hats, gloves)
Headlamps or flashlights may be helpful
Trails are well travelled and accessible, but expect winter footing
Registration is required. Limit of 15 participants.
Members and non-members are welcome but everyone will need to sign an insurance waiver.
