Migratory Bird Day Film Screening

When: Thursday, October 8, 2026

Time: 6:00 pm to 8:30pm

Where:  Theatre, Kitchener Central Library,
85 Queen Street North, Kitchener

Description:
Join us in learning what we can do to keep our birds safe during flight this migration season!

Kitchener Public Library and Bird Friendly City Kitchener present an evening of films that celebrate birds, followed by a panel discussion of what you can do to help birds this migration season!

We will be screening FLAP Canada’s short 2026 film, When Worlds Collide, followed by a screening of Canadian Filmmaker Su Rynard’s 2015 documentary film, The Messenger. In a special Q and A discussion following the screenings, FLAP Canada Executive Director and cofounder Michael Mesure will join Bird Friendly City Kitchener in a conversation highlighting the actions we can all take to help our avian friends.
