Description: The Linear Trail is an easy walk, for the most part on flat level ground. We will spend about an hour and a half on the Linear Trail and then move over to Riverside Park for an hour or so. Between the two sites we have excellent possibilities for a wide variety of passerines, including the chance to have chickadees feed from your hand, and close up looks at a number of species. Bald Eagle is a distinct possibility along the Linear Trail, with a variety of ducks, gulls, and perhaps a late kingfisher or cormorant.
This outing is being offered to those who are fully vaccinated. Registration is required. Non members are welcome but they will need to sign an insurance waiver.
