Learning together – Laurel and Forwell Creeks

Learning together outings are designed to learn from each other during the walk.  We take in nature’s delights along the way. This is a great way to get out and share our interest in nature and all that it has to offer.

This outing will focus on maple trees, in the area where Laurel and Forwell Creeks meet. The City of Waterloo plans to do rehabilitation to improve water quality and promote healthy fish habitat while minimising flooding impacts. You can contribute your expertise, or do some research on the role maple trees have in the ecosystem.
