Learning together – Economical Trailway

Learning together outings are designed to learn from each other during the walk.  We take in nature’s delights along the way. This is a great way to get out and share our interest in nature and all that it has to offer.

This outing follows the Economical Insurance Trailway section of the Walter Bean Grand River Trail. The Grand River is about 310 km long, and has a watershed area of 6,800 square km, about the size of Prince Edward Island. Approximately 80 species at risk occur in the watershed, and there are approximately 90 species of fish in the river system!
