rare Charitable Research Reserve is partnering with Waterloo Region Nature Kids once again to host our Christmas Bird Count for Kids. This is a family event, where parents learn alongside their kids.
The Christmas Bird Count for Kids (CBC4Kids) is a fun winter birdwatching event based on the traditional Christmas Bird Count. Participants build bird identification and monitoring skills while contributing to a real Community Science initiative! The goal is to promote nature appreciation, ecological literacy, and environmental stewardship in the next generation of naturalists.
This is an OUTDOOR event. Please dress for the weather to spend approximately two hours outside.
The event is free, but registration is required.
