Birding at the Mike Schout Wetland Preserve

This exciting, well-planned wetland officially opened in June 2023, and on several visits since, David found it very productive for birds, dragonflies, butterflies and other interesting features. Not having visited in the fall, he is anxious to explore its possibilities at that time of the year. He is sure it will yield many delights and perhaps even a few surprises.

Accessibility: The terrain is flat and level, much of it a sturdy boardwalk. The meeting point is 650 m from a transit stop. Washrooms are not available.
