Description: Come for a walk in the woods at Bechtel Park in Waterloo. There are occasional gentle slopes but no strenuous hills. Trails lead us through mature forest, along Laurel Creek and a short path through open pasture.
With the leaves down we will try our hand at identifying some of the large trees by their bark and learn how to age a tree without cutting it down to count its rings!
