Pond Study at Huron Natural Area

Where was the outing?
At a pond at the Huron natural area.
What was the weather like?
Hot and sunny and there were no clouds in the sky.
What did we do?
We collected frogs and tadpoles and insects.
What did you learn?
I learned I need taller rain boots and learned that ponds contain lots of different creatures.
Why is this important?
So my feet don’t get wet and because ecosystems need to be diverse.
What was your favourite part?
Catching frogs.
Anything else you’d like to add?
